This particular day I decided to use my voice for more than just my radio show. It was time to record my first PSA. As a future radio personality, I think recording PSAs are a great way to get the message out to the public. You would think recording and editing a PSA is a piece of cake. Well, you would be wrong. I thought I would've been done in at least an hour. Nope, this PSA took almost 2.5 hours to record and edit. Let's not talk about the software program not wanting to cooperate, so I had to leave the Mac Lab and record in the studio. Besides everything going terribly wrong in the first hour of recording or at least trying to record, I can honestly say I had a blast. Sure, I became annoyed with the system at first, but these things can happen. So, do what you do to get the job done. I can't wait to hear how it sounds on air.

Road to Graduation
At the Lollapalooza/SueƱos job fair I was able to display my musical talents by DJing. It was my first time having the chance to learn and execute the quick skills I was taught just before doing my thing. I actually had really good time and I think I want to create my own mix for my portfolio. Music is my forte and I think I would enjoy being a part-time DJ. In the meantime I'm working on trying to incorporate a mix into my radio show as well. I'll keep you updated in the process. Ciao for now
